Chapter 49: Special Service

“You wait outside first. I’ll go tease him!” Upon arriving at the hotel where Ye Feng was staying, Long Yue whispered to Zhuge Ling’er and Lu Zhan.
“That’s not right,” Zhuge Ling’er said. She had met Ye Feng before and couldn’t bear to see him get badly treated by Long Yue.
“I just want to see what kind of character he has and test whether his skills are really that great,” Long Yue said, winking at the two of them.
“Be careful!” Lu Zhan nodded.
“Alright then,” Zhuge Ling’er could only reluctantly agree.
Long Yue walked to the door of Room 203 and rang the bell.
Ye Feng, who had just finished training and emerged from the Virtual Realm, heard the doorbell ring before he could even settle in. He quickly put on a detector and transformed it into the appearance of plain glasses with black frames.
Total Combat Value: 3185
Strength: 821
Speed: 732
Mental Power: 759
Innate Internal Energy: 873
The terrifying combat strength of the woman at the door made Ye Feng frown. What worried him even more was that, in addition to detecting her combat value, there were two other people at the corner of the staircase.
The stats of the tall man were:
Total Combat Value: 2235
Strength: 721
Speed: 633
Mental Power: 456
Innate Internal Energy: 425
And the stats of the woman beside him:
Total Combat Value: 1873
Strength: 436
Speed: 478
Mental Power: 541
Innate Internal Energy: 418
None of these three could be dealt with by him, even though he had trained under the “Wu Dian” all day.
Ye Feng took out the photon gun that could kill vampires from his storage space and walked to the door. “Who is it?”
“Sir, didn’t you make a call earlier asking for some special service?” came a sweet female voice from outside.
“I’m sorry, you must have the wrong person. I wasn’t in my room all day and just got back. I think someone else must be the one who wants special service,” Ye Feng replied while trying to figure out how to deal with the crisis.
“Aren’t you Ye Feng? The person on the phone said to serve Mr. Ye Feng well. He’s already paid. You can’t just send me away like this, can you?” Long Yue coquettishly fiddled with her hair.
“If you want to come in, then come in!” Ye Feng slightly raised the corners of his mouth, put the photon gun back in the storage cabinet, and retrieved another fine piece of equipment from the Virtual Realm.

Leaving the door slightly ajar, Ye Feng was momentarily stunned by the beauty of the woman before him. Long wavy curls, a flawless face like that of a fairy, and skin so delicate it seemed to break at the slightest touch; a black evening gown that appeared to have been carefully chosen, giving her an air of nobility and elegance. The hint of white skin visible at the small V-neck was enough to drive any man crazy; her slender waist, small enough to fit in one’s hands, made countless men want to embrace her. Her long legs were covered by the black gown, but her black high heels, visible beyond the hem, were exposed.

This woman was on par with Pearl in terms of beauty, though she gave off a different impression. If Ye Feng hadn’t known her combat skills in advance, he might have been deceived by her.

“M-may I come in?” Long Yue pretended to be uneasy, fiddling with her handbag.

“Of course,” Ye Feng said with an air of certainty, pushing the door fully open before releasing her hand to let her in.

After Long Yue entered the room, seeing that the other two still hadn’t moved, Ye Feng closed the door with a smile.

“Beauty, tell me, what exactly is your purpose in coming to see me?” Ye Feng crossed his arms and smiled at Long Yue.

“Didn’t I already say? Special-service…” Long Yue said, casually throwing her handbag on the bed. “Don’t you want it?”

“To be honest, no!” Ye Feng tilted his head and shook it.

“Men are always hypocritical…” Long Yue fiddled with her hair again to appear more sexy. Then she stepped toward Ye Feng. “It seems you prefer to be passive. Since that’s the case, let me help you…”

Ye Feng pulled his right hand from his chest and pointed at Long Yue, smiling. “If a woman is too proactive, often no man dares to pursue her…”

“Oh, is that so?” Long Yue realized her probing had been seen as hostile, but she wasn’t ready to give up. She wanted to see just how far Ye Feng would go. As soon as she finished speaking, she moved swiftly, trying to dodge his direct attack and subdue him.

Ye Feng’s lips curled slightly as he pulled the trigger on his pistol. A strange substance shot out from the barrel, and Long Yue collapsed to the ground.

“What is this?” Long Yue struggled desperately on the ground, trapped by some kind of net-like substance.

“No need to struggle. Without my permission, this thing will keep you trapped for a hundred years,” Ye Feng said, smiling at Long Yue, who was rolling on the ground.
“Hmph.” With great effort, Long Yue reached for her heel and pulled out a dagger, using it to cut through the net that trapped her. To her surprise, the dagger easily sliced through the mesh, yet no gap was created in it.
“Stop wasting your effort. This net is made of pure energy—it only affects the human body and can automatically capture living beings. Its energy comes from your own body’s energy; the more you struggle, the stronger its restraint becomes… I heard someone once used this thing to capture a vampire viscount…” Ye Feng lifted the net and threw it onto the bed. “By the way, to prevent captured monsters from shouting for help or warning their companions, this net can adjust various shielding effects, including sound suppression, wireless signal blocking, and electromagnetic wave blocking. I’ve already completely blocked your voice and any communication devices you might use. Once I’ve caught your companions, we can have a proper talk!”
After saying that, Ye Feng turned and left.
Long Yue slumped helplessly in the net. She had no idea where Ye Feng got such a strange device. But there was no doubt that something capable of capturing a vampire viscount could easily handle her—after all, vampires who held noble titles were incredibly powerful. There was little hope left for her to break free from this net. All she could do now was wait for Ye Feng to capture Zhuge Ling’er and Lu Zhan, then tell him it was just a prank of hers. What annoyed her the most was that, from the first glance at Ye Feng, she knew he had just reached the Innate level and was far inferior to her in strength. Yet she never had a chance to use her advantages before falling into his hands. By now, she finally believed that the vampire baron had been killed by Ye Feng.
