Chapter 844: Double Battle Points

The elite fighters from the four major gangs clashed with the Mongol cavalry with overwhelming force.
The fiercest battles!
The cruelest close-quarters combat was fully revealed at this moment.
Without NPC soldiers to act as a buffer, martial artists faced the Mongol cavalry head-on for the first time, sparking intense battles and bloodshed.
“…”
In the blink of an eye, the vanguard of the Mongol cavalry was utterly defeated by over a hundred top experts from the four gangs.
Hundreds of fierce and invincible cavalrymen were defeated in one fell swoop for the first time, with more than two hundred of them killed instantly.
The agonized cries of the horses, the screams of Mongol cavalrymen falling off their mounts, and the clashing of swords and weapons all contributed to the overwhelming advance against the Mongol cavalry.
“Kill!!”
“Haha! 20 battle points for each ordinary Mongol cavalryman! Great!”
“There are at least 11,000 of these Mongol cavalrymen—over 200,000 battle points in total, haha… Brothers, let’s see who can grab the most!”
“You fool, don’t rush too far forward! What’s the point of dying?”
“Damn it! How dare you look down on me!!!”
“…” The more than 20,000 martial artists landed much faster than the Mongol cavalry and quickly formed a huge pocket formation.
Many rushed toward the chaotic area already cleared by the earlier attacks—thousands of Mongol warriors who had lost their horses and were forced to fight on foot were easy targets.
“Damn!”
“It can’t be this intense!!”
Many of the elite fighters were secretly shocked: “Good heavens, who are those people ahead…”
In fact, although all those from the four gangs were elites, not everyone was fearless or willing to die. Especially those who knew the power of the Mongol cavalry charges had deep fears about them.
With no NPC soldiers to act as a buffer between the two armies, they had even prepared for the worst—what if their formation was shattered in the first attack…
But to their surprise, it was the Mongol cavalry whose formation was shattered!
Before the tens of thousands of Mongol cavalrymen could fully spread out, they were dealt a heavy blow by the experts from the four gangs, forcing them to retreat.

In the blink of an eye, tens of thousands of Mongol cavalry, along with a large group of those who had lost their horses and were now as helpless as ordinary chickens and dogs, were utterly unable to resist an equal number of martial artists. Under the onslaught of countless swords and blades, they were slashed to the ground, covered in blood, stretching for hundreds of meters.

As the center collapsed, the martial artists, like sharp swords, fiercely split the massive Mongol cavalry into three separate battlefields. On the left, over a thousand Mongol cavalry were held back by more than a thousand two hundred Central Plains cavalry led by Yin Hu, engaging in a fierce struggle. In the middle, thanks to Kai Xin’s interference, this area became the most advantageous, and the martial artists advanced with overwhelming force, even faster than on the side of Lei Zhan. As for Lei Zhan’s side, hundreds of top-tier experts, with combat experience and survival skills far beyond ordinary players, were there.

Moreover… Many elite fighters like Lei Zhan, Xiao Bei, Hong Chen, Mei Ying, and Ye Yu Su Feng all had experience facing large numbers of Mongol cavalry, taking on the greatest risks while remaining safe. By supporting each other, they could withstand even the strongest pressure without retreating, instead gaining a decisive advantage.

Of course! Everyone knew that the one who created this situation—Kai Xin—was the greatest hero of this battle… If not for Kai Xin’s early intervention in the battlefield, weakening the enemy’s attacking force and reducing their combat effectiveness, the losses would have been severe against tens of thousands of cavalry charging head-on. But now… In just a moment, he had already slain over two thousand cavalry. Continuing forward, it was not impossible to completely wipe out this group of cavalry! Some who had initially felt apprehensive and uneasy saw the current situation and cast aside their doubts, rushing into battle eagerly.

…Thud! Thud! The legs of the war horses kept getting cut off. Kai Xin continued his relentless assault—flying across the ground with one hand while wielding his sword with the other, moving swiftly beneath the horses. Dozens of Mongol cavalry around him cried out in shock as they fell from their horses. Though attacked with knives and axes, they were deftly avoided by Kai Xin’s quick turns. The Little Dragon form was more than enough to deal with these people. Taking advantage of the moment when he emerged from beneath the horses, Kai Xin quickly scanned the area within a hundred meters. After a series of attacks, at least two thousand Mongol cavalry had been forced off their horses, their combat effectiveness greatly reduced without their mounts. Now, the area was filled with chaos. The momentum of the cavalry charge was completely halted; tens of thousands of troops collided head-on! The Mongol cavalry found themselves in a fierce struggle.

Seeing this, Kai Xin felt a wave of relief. Noticing that the situation was under control and their side had gained a huge advantage, he realized his mission was complete—now that things were under control, even if there were inevitable casualties, the four major factions could handle them! The biggest threat had been resolved.

“Well, since the situation is under control, let’s seize this opportunity to earn battle merits before the Mongol cavalry can react and retreat!”

In mid-air, Kai Xin changed his sword technique. The “Flying Dragon Sword Art” was replaced by the “Heavenly Sky Thunder Annihilation Style.” The sword light was like lightning! Tiny sparks rushed into the foreheads of over a dozen Mongol cavalrymen around him, causing blood to spray everywhere. Roaring sounds like thunder soon echoed from their ears.

“Bold!” A sharp cry came from behind.

Kai Xin became alert immediately. Without turning around, he twisted his body irregularly in mid-air, allowing the sharp axe blade to skim past him and strike the air.

The giant commander who had tried to ambush him was furious at failing to hit him! But before he could change his attack, a fierce lightning bolt struck between his eyes, causing his axe to lose control and plunge deep into the ground, sinking half a foot.

Thud! The body fell to the ground.

Ding! System notification:

“A commander has been killed. Additional battle merit bonus: 1,000 points!”

“Current total battle merits: 9,320 points!”

Kai Xin was already used to the double battle merit bonus and calmly picked up the first-class weapon that had fallen to the ground, stuffing it quickly into his Qiankun Bag.

Since the start of the battle, the speed at which he accumulated battle merits had been fast, but Kai Xin wasn’t satisfied at all…

“One cavalry attendant sacrificed!”

The system kept announcing the deaths of cavalry attendants. Out of his 625 subordinates, one-third had died in the blink of an eye—almost as fast as he could earn battle merits. How could he possibly relax?
