Chapter 576: The Arrival of Divine Plagues (1)

The Destroying Giant Centipede, the Destroying Sand Worm, the Worm Mage, along with the last two powerful legendary monsters—a terrifying creature resembling an alien with a pale appearance and sharp spines all over its body—and a two-legged being shaped like a frog appeared.
From this order, one can discern the varying levels of intelligence among these five boss-level monsters among the void creatures that attacked the Divine Kingdom this time. The brains of the Destroying Giant Centipede and the Destroying Sand Worm are essentially driven only by the desire to kill, aiming to destroy all material and non-material existence. The Destroying Sand Worm was slower than the Destroying Giant Centipede, which is why it arrived a step later.
Compared to these void destroyers, the Worm Mage, deeply immersed in the realm of evil, wasn’t quite so mindless. Upholding its evil will from life and becoming even more twisted due to its bodily mutations, the Worm Mage usually had its own plans. The last two terrifying creatures to arrive were, aside from the three goddesses, of a species even Donald didn’t know.
After all, the vastness of the universe meant there were countless strange creatures, and he had only just begun to explore the world of true gods, with much still to learn.
“That human-shaped creature over there is called a Soul Prisoner Demon. It belongs to the same category as Abyssal Demons, but the difference is that such creatures don’t necessarily originate in the abyss. When a mad, intelligent killer dies, its soul, driven by chaos and twisted forces, descends to the dark and filthy lower realms, where it absorbs chaotic evil elements to regain a physical body and continue its endless slaughter, becoming a Soul Prisoner Demon!”
The Magic Goddess looked grave, her tone tinged with disgust—clearly, she had a very poor impression of such creatures.

“The Soul Prisoner has no conscience; its only purpose is to slaughter and destroy any soul-bearing creature it sees, whether alive or dead. Even among Soul Prisoners, this one is an extremely powerful and evil type known as the Soul Piercing Soul Prisoner. When it kills a creature, the victim’s body disappears, and their soul turns into a phantom trapped on the Soul Prisoner’s spikes. The Soul Piercing Soul Prisoner consumes the power of these souls until they are utterly destroyed after their suffering ends.”
Everyone present shuddered at the description—such evil creatures were rare even in the Abyss.
Donald said to Amps, “Since it’s related to Abyssal creatures, leave it to you to deal with it! Be careful; its abilities are likely very strange.”
“As you command, my master!”
Amps, the Abyssal Demon Forger, bowed and left.
Donald then turned his gaze toward another legendary Void monster that was about to arrive.
“Then, Princess Euryana, could you explain what this monster is?”
The Magic Goddess gave Donald a peculiar look and sighed, “I don’t know if you’re lucky or unlucky—you keep attracting rare and powerful creatures!”
“That last one is a rare Void creature called the Slarth. Completely dominated by chaos, the Slarth exists solely to create disorder. They have only a vague understanding of reality, and their minds are filled with insane thoughts. These rare and mad creatures focus on things beyond the comprehension of other beings. Usually, they attack any creature without reason.”

“The Slime Toads do not recognize any deities and believe they are the first creatures to emerge in the universe. Though this is merely their assumption, these creatures are indeed ancient species that existed alongside demons or even earlier. It is said that they were created by even more powerful, ancient, and evil beings than the supreme gods! But all of this is history now. The Slime Toads hold no status in the abyss and have been driven to the edges of the void to survive. The foolish Slime Toads spread chaos instinctively, while the clever ones do so deliberately. Unfortunately for other creatures in the universe, those Slime Toads who reach the Golden rank or above are usually the smarter ones! Fortunately, such chaotic creatures are extremely rare, with those powerful enough to reach the level of true gods being even fewer!”

“When fighting the Slime Toads, be careful of their claws. They use these claws to implant Slime Toad embryos in living beings. This is a contagious substance known as the ‘Chaos Phage.’ These embryos quickly grow into Slime Toad tadpoles, which then kill their hosts to become new Slime Toads. As a hallmark of the Slime Toads, the infected victims go insane before dying.”

“When a Slime Toad is completely filled with chaotic energy from the endless abyss, its body is consumed, and it transforms into a Void Slime Toad. Also called the Black Slime Toad due to its dark skin, these void creatures lose the ability to spread the Chaos Phage but gain control over terrifying chaotic energy. Powerful Void Slime Toads can even rival true gods. This one seems to be a newly ascended Void Slime Toad, but even conservatively, its strength is above that of a demi-god—making it extremely difficult to deal with!”

After hearing the Magic Goddess’s explanation, Donald nodded without showing any fear. Instead, he threw away his long spear, handing over Fury of Nature to his Demon Hunter avatar. The square wooden whip reappeared in his hand as he said confidently, “Of course, it’s just my luck. The stronger these guys are, the better!”

With that, he stepped forward out of the group and headed straight toward the monster coming from the void, swinging his whip at it.

Against creatures of this pure chaos faction, the Whip of Order can achieve unexpected results compared to Fury of Nature. This guy is probably the wisest of the five legendary monsters here. Although his strength may not be the greatest, he is undoubtedly the most difficult to deal with!

So Donald prepared to take action himself!
Evil beings aren’t scary, nor are evil and powerful beings—what’s truly terrifying are those that are both evil and powerful, intelligent, and utterly insane!
The Void Slime possessed all of these traits, which is why Donald took this powerful and bizarre creature extremely seriously. Such beings must be eradicated at their source; otherwise, if they grow strong enough, there might be no place left for any other life in the entire universe! This is also why ordinary gods usually capture, imprison, or destroy such creatures when they encounter them.
Unlike the Spider Queen’s avatar, which was frozen in place, the Void Slime, empowered by the laws of order, resisted even more fiercely while being restrained. Even the avatars of gods from the chaotic evil faction contain some elements of order, so when faced with the attacks of the Whip of Order, they suffered more from the constraints of these laws.
