Chapter 567: The Divine Whip Appears, Shocking All Gods
This whip strike landed right on the Spider Queen’s noble buttocks—a sight that stunned countless divine beings observing this rare spectacle, which only occurs once every few hundred years in the main world. Who would have thought they would witness such a remarkable scene today!
Some of these gods had bulging eyes, some burst into laughter, and others had suspicious drool flowing from their mouths as they completely forgot to maintain their divine appearances. It’s hard to imagine what the mortal believers would think if they saw this.
Even two other gods fighting not far away, along with other demigods, legends, and demons, were stunned, slowing down their attacks.
The Spider Queen had no idea that what Donald showed was only half of his true power; the other half, his power as a law god, could be summoned at any time. Thus, even while holding the throne, he still had enough strength to deal with these attackers!
The number of incarnations one can create depends not only on the level of one’s divinity but also on how many divine domains they master. Donald already had two major demigod incarnations: the Nature Guardian incarnation and the Demon Hunter incarnation. The latter was a fusion of aspects of natural wrath, balance, and the Demon Hunter profession. Strictly speaking, it differed from a simple incarnation, more like a combination of a clone and an incarnation.
By separating the demon incarnation from his main body, Donald became much clearer both spiritually and physically, showing signs of further advancement in his divinity level!
As mentioned earlier, Donald’s own divinity level had reached the peak of a lower god. However, due to not holding the throne, he couldn’t advance any further. But now he could start creating powerful lower god incarnations. Lower god incarnations aren’t restricted by whether a divine kingdom rises or not.
Currently, Donald’s two strongest divine domains were Nature Guardian and Divine Punishment. Both were powerful enough to reach the level of a mid-tier god. Although others had greater potential, their formation time was short, and their control over laws was insufficient, making them far less powerful than these two domains derived from Donald’s mastery of nature.
Yet Donald didn’t choose to elevate the Nature Guardian incarnation to the lower god level, even though it would save a lot of divine energy compared to creating a new incarnation. Instead, he planned to directly create an incarnation with the power of a lower god through the Divine Punishment domain!
In his early days as a god, he already mastered several divine powers and gathered three avatars—something that likely wouldn’t happen again in ten thousand years! Apart from the Natural Guardian, who was revealed at the beginning, the Demon Hunter was unveiled during the expedition to the Ruins of Oblivion. This avatar ability is undoubtedly the best choice among hero classes for countering mages and demons, akin to an enhanced version of the Elven Magic Destroyer. In fact, as both being High Elves, they share a significant connection; there are rumors that the Demon Hunter class originated from the Magic Destroyer, with the target changed to demons. Moreover, they developed methods to seize demonic power for their own use. Over these three years, Donald has also gathered another avatar wielding the power of Divine Retribution, possessing the will of Natural Wrath—a force that delivers devastating blows to anything that defies natural laws. The evil and chaotic forces of the abyss, which are purely invasive and destructive to nature, naturally cannot coexist peacefully with it. Thus, with these two avatars capable of countering abyssal forces, they are the ideal choices to deal with the Spider Queen, this demon goddess, and her demonic minions. In addition, Donald has prepared another powerful trump card for himself. The first avatar, the Natural Guardian, wields the primary artifact, Fury of Nature; the second avatar, the Demon Hunter, wields the secondary artifact, Blade of the Dark Moon. The third avatar, reduced to about ten feet tall—only slightly taller than an ordinary person—is the strongest of all. This avatar of Divine Retribution holds a square wooden whip that is three feet, five inches, and six fractions long, with twenty-six segments. Each segment has four sides, each inscribed with a mysterious symbol—a total of eighty-four—whose divine glow also harbors the power of order. This is the material Donald used to replicate the legendary God-Beating Whip from his past life. The core of this material comes from the bovine horn secondary artifact obtained during his battle against two orcish true gods. This horn-shaped secondary artifact, once belonging to the God of Plunder, Bigel, is extraordinary in nature—it likely originates from the Void Realm and inherently possesses order attributes, repelling all chaotic forces that defy order. Even as a secondary artifact, it can withstand powerful true artifacts like the Heart of Kings without damage, as verified by the Book of Truth. Its material quality is on par with realm wonders like the Planar Cube, making it an excellent material for crafting high-tier divine artifacts. After obtaining this high-grade divine material, Donald conceived the idea of forging it into a powerful artifact—though the conditions were not yet ripe at the time.
After then, he went on an adventure to the Land of Forgetfulness, where he obtained numerous divine materials from other worlds, finally gathering enough to craft a divine artifact. Donald named it the Whip of Order.
This small wooden whip seemed unremarkable at first glance, but it was based on the Horn of Order and endowed with the powers of the God of Balance under the supreme order by the Codex of the Gods. Divine beings and even true gods from the three fundamental factions—Order, Chaos, and Neutrality—could not escape its rules.
However, due to Donald’s limited abilities and his lack of control over the powers of balance, he could only manage to craft it at the level of a mid-tier divine artifact. Even so, its power was astonishingly great among mid-tier artifacts!
Whenever struck by the Whip of Order, any being whose divine rank was not higher than the wielder’s own would have their divine powers stripped and their rank reduced. Even against beings of a higher rank, it had a certain chance of erasing some of their divine domains.
This was why the lower-divine incarnation of the Spider Queen was utterly powerless against Donald’s whip.
Donald preferred another name for the Whip of Order—Whip of God-Slaying. But since that name was considered offensive to the gods, it was only used in private. Once he became a higher-divine being, no one would object to whatever name he chose.
The Whip of Order did not rely on physical or energy attacks but rather directly restricted or even deprived divine beings of their fundamental laws of divinity. If it evolved to the level of a high-tier divine artifact, even higher-divine beings might fear using it, as they risked having their ranks reduced and their powers stripped!
This was the second mid-tier divine artifact created by Donald after the Well of the Sun, and it was also the first offensive mid-tier divine artifact.
Not to mention how trivial Donald’s strike seemed—after being hit in the buttocks, the Spider Queen’s emotions were incredibly complex.
“You… damn you…”
