Chapter 58: The Final Secret, Section 8
The mushroom-shaped clouds gradually dissipated. What appeared before the beautiful woman was a horrific scene. On the mirror-smooth diamond ground, a huge pit three meters wide had been violently carved out by Black Hair’s attack. This showed just how terrifying Black Hair’s strength was. Yet, compared to his terrifying power, the Emperor of Moore’s reaction was even more astonishing.
No, it wasn’t the Emperor of Moore himself, but his golden armor. After all, he was the first to come into contact with the diamond ground—Black Hair’s target. The problem was that such immense force still couldn’t crack his golden armor. The only effect was that the spikes on his armor twisted slightly.
Damn it! That force could even shatter diamond. Was this guy’s armor harder than diamond?
Gasping heavily, Black Hair stared in disbelief at the Emperor of Moore beneath him. He couldn’t believe his eyes. But the facts proved everything was true. Though the Emperor of Moore remained motionless, his intense life energy indicated he wasn’t dead.
Not only was he not dead, but he didn’t even show any signs of injury!!
What an amazing armor! Was this the pinnacle of the Moore Empire’s millennia of plunder? A cold glint flashed in Black Hair’s eyes as he tightened his right hand and lifted the Emperor of Moore above his head. His left fist then slammed mercilessly into the emperor’s abdomen.
“Thud!!”
“Thud-thud!!”
Again and again. Black Hair’s attacks were wildly fierce and forceful, creating powerful cyclones with each punch. The sound of his punches, breaking the sound barrier, echoed like thunder. They struck the Emperor of Moore, sending him flying like a kite, each impact sending him flying far away. But Black Hair’s grip on his head and face prevented him from escaping. As Black Hair continued to punch, even the ground around them was torn apart by the force of his blows. Large chunks of soil and rock were lifted into the air with each thud, creating an astonishing spectacle!!
Such brutal attacks were naturally not something the Emperor of Moore could easily endure. Soon, pained groans echoed amidst the thunderous punches, sometimes accompanied by sounds like blood bubbling in the chest.
And this was exactly what Black Hair wanted.
As an experienced warrior, he certainly wouldn’t stick to convention. Just because a single powerful attack couldn’t penetrate the armor didn’t mean he couldn’t find a way through sustained attacks. The golden armor was indeed very sturdy, but even if it could withstand 99% of the damage from the Moorish Emperor, that 1% of residual impact was inevitable. Heck Black trusted his fists—even the aftereffects of that impact would be enough to injure his enemy.
It turned out his choice was correct. Under his fierce attacks, the Moorish Emperor was ultimately injured. Hearing the faint echoes, a cruel smile appeared on Heck Black’s lips.
“Die!”
With a fierce shout, he suddenly spun around, grabbed the Moorish Emperor’s head, and flung it into the sky. Immediately afterward, the armor on his shoulders, arms, and sides opened up, revealing a high-frequency red glow inside.
His power, Ya Zi, was activated—advanced energy transformation, enhanced status: speed, strength, reflexes, agility, and adaptability to the environment!! Fully activated!!
“Boom!!”
In an instant, Heck Black’s entire body was enveloped in red light, as if trapped in a sea of fire. But it wasn’t real flame—it was an energy oscillation layer created by Ya Zi. The purpose of this energy layer was to turn Heck Black himself into a weapon, an invincible combat tool.
Unlike traditional weapons, however, his enhancement was far more thorough and brutal. Multiple energy sources controlled by Ya Zi oscillated at high frequencies on the outside of his body, with effects that were truly terrifying. In this world, no known armor could withstand such energy attacks—not even Snake Fang! Wrapped in these high-frequency oscillating energies, Heck Black already possessed the power to tear apart planets.
Faced with such absolute power, he believed that no matter how strong the defense, it was nothing but trash!
The earth trembled, and the winds howled. In just an instant, Heck Black’s red, demon-like figure rushed forward like an aurora suddenly appearing on the horizon, meeting the Moorish Emperor, who was still spinning in the air. The sight was even more stunning and beautiful than a rainbow suddenly appearing in the sky.
Yet this beauty was deadly.
“Bang!!”
With a crisp sound, Black Hair collided forcefully with the Moor Emperor. His impenetrable golden armor shattered in less than a second under the force of his oscillating energy. Countless golden fragments flew like bullets, followed by the Moor Emperor’s agonized screams. Yet, contrary to Black Hair’s expectations, he wasn’t flung away but managed to stretch his hand toward Black Hair.
“Black Hair! I will never surrender! I am the emperor of Moor! The greatest man! Beautiful women belong to me, to me!!!”
In a fit of madness, the Moor Emperor let out shrill cries. Numerous cracks appeared on his golden helmet, and thin black tendrils stretched out like an octopus’s arms. The hand he extended toward Black Hair also emitted dazzling blue light.
“Mind power—hundred billion megajoules of electric shock!!”
“Hiss!!” The dazzling blue light instantly turned into jumping arcs, which then formed a sludge-like substance that splashed directly onto Black Hair. Black Hair felt darkness before his eyes, as if struck by an invisible force, and was flung away like a meteor, crashing into the ground with a loud explosion. Just like the Moor Emperor before him, he was buried deep underground.
It hurts!!
That was Black Hair’s only thought. Everything happened in an instant—so fast that even his nerves couldn’t react. Yet in such a short time, he seemed to have endured hellish torment. That terrifying blue sludge carried more than just electric shock; it also had a heat equal to that of flames and powerful corrosive effects.
That’s not electric shock—that’s plasma!!!
The intense pain made it nearly impossible for Black Hair to control his body. This was even after Ya Zi had protected him. If he had faced it directly, there would likely be nothing left of him. After all, both Black Hair and the Moor Emperor were powerful warriors, and their weapons were far beyond those of ordinary soldiers—both in terms of power and precision, reaching levels unimaginable to humans.
Just like that simple plasma—although it had long been used in human society—in the Moor Emperor’s hands, its power surpassed that of a naval cannon.
Proportional imbalance—this was the true reflection of the two of them at that moment.
If there truly were universal rules, these two must be those who defied and broke those rules!!
“Huff, puff…” He gasped heavily. Kurokami felt his strength draining at an alarming rate. Though the fight between the two had only lasted a few minutes, the danger involved was far worse than any battle he had ever faced before. In the blink of an eye, death could already be reaching for him. So despite the short duration, Kurokami’s exhaustion was immense—over half of his mental energy had already been used up!
Mental energy was the sole source of power for Kurokami’s weapon, Yazi. Once that energy was depleted, no matter how strong Yazi became, it could no longer fight and would simply turn into an ordinary armor. At that point, Kurokami would be completely finished.
The situation had inadvertently tilted in favor of Emperor Moore. Worse still, Kurokami’s fierce attacks earlier had driven him to madness with pain…
In the sky, dark threads emanating from Emperor Moore’s head spread like dark clouds, covering half of the sky. Countless arcs of lightning, large and small, flickered like snakes, radiating an air of madness.
“Pain! It hurts so much!! Kurokami, you’ve hurt me!! I’ll kill you! I’ll kill you!! There’s no need for you to beg for mercy this time—no matter how you plead, I won’t spare you!! All my promises to you are void. You demon don’t deserve to exist in this world!!”
“Boom!!” A loud thunderclap echoed in the sky. Lightning as thick as buckets flashed above Emperor Moore’s head, revealing his monstrous appearance. The golden armor around his eyes glowed red, devoid of any human-like hue. As Emperor Moore screamed frantically, the lightning in the sky grew denser and more numerous, gradually forming a web of thunder!!
That was the power of lightning…
Lying quietly in a deep pit beneath the ground, Kurokami watched the strange phenomena in the sky coldly. He knew this was likely Emperor Moore’s most powerful attack. Lightning was already one of the most terrifying energies in the universe. Even in space, lightning amplified millions of times could form energy storms that destroyed entire fleets.
But… Kurokami wasn’t afraid. Not only that, he even spotted a weakness in Emperor Moore at this moment.
Whether it was to gather more strength or to display his own madness, Emperor Moore now had his arms fully spread out, floating defenselessly high in the sky. His golden helmet was also covered in countless cracks due to the dark threads.
Could a helmet full of cracks still be as strong as it was at first?
Black Hair didn’t know. But he decided to give it a try. So, once again amid the Emperor Mo’s frantic shouts, he suddenly acted. A crystal spear made entirely of energy shot up from the ground like a venomous snake, ignoring space and distance, and pierced right in front of the Emperor Mo in an instant. By then, the Emperor Mo still hadn’t withdrawn his arm!
With a loud “CRACK!” that echoed across the sky, golden fragments scattered like rain of light. The Emperor Mo’s helmet was truly shattered.
Countless strands of black hair gushed out like dark clouds…
That was… Black Hair’s eyes widened in shock.
Those strands of hair weren’t weapons—they were his own hair!!!
